The restaurant here serves delicious dishes for dinner, and there is a convenient storage space and a cozy lounge area available.

The location was particularly good, a 10-15 minute walk from a child-friendly museum. Btw, the airport was 15 km away. Our deluxe king room was fashionable, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Truly enjoyed the takeaway breakfast.

The property is popular, it has very attentive and knowledgeable staff especially at reception desk. The hotel serves DELICIOUS breakfasts and offers well-appointed and brand-new rooms with iPads and a slanting ceiling, as for instance. The cocktail bar is cozy, liked this place.

The breakfast here is amazing, offering a wide variety of pastries and fruits to choose from.

The stay in this hotel leaves a mixed bag of contradictory feelings. . The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good. The situation is very good, right in the middle of the city.

When you stop the vehicle at the door you can already see that it is a dark and old place. The access on foot to the hotel by a staircase in a corner, confirms that it needs a complete reform. Dark, worn-out materials that should have been replaced long ago. A well-preserved old hotel cannot be seen. The hotel is old. The reception, lounges and rooms are older. The effort of the staff is great to propose solutions and that we have everything, but you can not ignore what there is. The room has two fans because it lacks air conditioning. Well painted, but small, old and with cables in sight. Most rooms face two narrow side and back alleys.

I liked the attitude of the staff at the counter, especially Luke was impressed. Very good breakfast and morning coffee. Lots of cheeses, sausages, olives. You could diversify the day from day to day main hot breakfast dishes. (Uniform as the same sausages, bacon, eggs, beans.). Otherwise, no foul play, all right! All the comments were removed quickly and without delay. Good knowledge of English and Norwegian, among other things. Several times changed the room, (once due to problems with the electronic lock, once due to the noisy side of the street accommodation). In the room everything corresponded to our expectations. Coffee mugs and kettle were delivered on demand!

In the morning at 05:00 06:30, if the windows remain open, it is very noisy from the side between . neighboring buildings. Unload materials, garbage, something else. Very untidy and noisy all this is done. From the sea side, no such problem has been observed.

The newly renovated king room had a classic design, the helpful staff offered detailed information, and the location was superb with convenient access to public transportation and plenty of dining options in the vicinity.

The hotel is located in the old town on the seafront. The Palace, the port, the Old Town and all are within walking distance. There are two metro stations within a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Great breakfasts. Big choice of dishes. The interior of the hotel deserves special attention. I recommend walking up the stairs and admiring pictures from the past. The room had almost everything for comfortable rest: refrigerator, hair dryer, iron + ironing board, fans, shampoos, gels, etc.

There was no safe in the room. Bathroom taps leaked and faucets didn't work well. We had to "pick up" the position of the handles for normal system operation. The central air conditioning system wasn't working. There was a remote on the wall, but there was no response. Fans were used before us

Popular and impeccably clean place. Top-notch and comfortable quiet units with the shower and hairdryer.

The one negative about this hotel is that on Friday and Saturday night they turn the restarurant into a night club with extremely loud music until 2am or so, and it makes sleeping impossible in rooms on floors 1 to 3. The hotel should have warned us abou this, but did not. On other nights of the week, this is not a problem.

The location is excellent for seeing the palace and old town. shopping and food of all types are available in a 10 min walk. Perfect place for the 2 or three day trip to the city. Staff is very helpful.

The rooms could use a little update. We had a deluxe room and the carpet and chairs where tired.
